Despite the rainy and cold weather, the 2024 Potomac Festival Spring Fling was a delightful experience! Held on April 27, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, this event brought together families, friends, and the local community for an afternoon of fun-filled activities and entertainment.
A Day of Fun and Creativity at the Potomac Festival Spring Fling!
The day kicked off with warm greetings from the store managers, who were eager to host the Event Squad and all the guests. Throughout the event, many curious individuals stopped by to inquire about the festivities. Upon learning that it was a complimentary event, they were excited to join in on the fun!

Creation Station
One of the most popular attractions was the Creation Station. Guests had the opportunity to get creative by painting rocks and wood slices, turning them into beautiful pieces of nature art. Additionally, the thumbprint art activity allowed participants to transform their colorful thumbprints into whimsical characters, sparking joy and imagination.
DIY T-Shirt Tote Bags
Promoting sustainability and creativity, the DIY T-Shirt Tote Bags station was a hit. Guests upcycled old t-shirts into stylish and practical tote bags, learning an eco-friendly craft that helps reduce waste.
Spring Photo Booth
The Spring Photo Booth was a crowd favorite, with guests snapping three poses to create a fun photo booth strip. These strips were then placed in charming tasseled bookmark sleeves, serving as a lovely memento of the event.
Live DJ and Entertainment
The live DJ kept the atmosphere lively and energetic, playing a mix of popular dance hits and top 40s favorites. Attendees danced and enjoyed the music, creating a cheerful and engaging environment.
Face Painters and Glitter Tattoo Artists
Guests had the opportunity to beautify themselves with creative face paintings and glitter tattoos. The skilled artists added a touch of spring sparkle to everyone's appearance, enhancing the festive mood.
